The aemum species is a shrub to 2m or woody climber to 10m with smooth twining stems, while the didymum species is a shrub 3-4m or a vigorous woody climber to 15m high. Both plants appear very similar but the leaves are slightly different in shape and form. Highly scented and attractive flowers which appear mainly from October to December.
