Heard the male Cicadabird calling from high up in a mahogany tree. Its call does sound a bit like a cicada, and is a long repeated 'zzzzzzrtt' sort of sound. Could be easily confused with the Varied Triller which has a more shrill, shorter call. The female Cocadabird and female Varied Triller are almost identical in appearance, but the latter is smaller and has white bars on her wing.
