A top favourite for lots of reasons. AKA the 'rusty-pipe bird' because of its incredible range of rasping, hissing and croaking calls. There's been a resident pair in our garden for as long as we've lived here and I never tire of watching them collecting fibres from coconut palm trunks and fronds, zipping about chasing insects or hearing their duets.
